According to the Cap Times an aide to Steve Nass is circulating a blog post about the UW’s new chancellor Biddy Martin in the National Review. The blog post calls Martin an “obscure, self-indulged, theory-laden, post-modern scholar” and wonders whether she can effectively lead the university.

Ohio University Going to Semesters?

Ohio University (my new place of employment starting Tuesday) runs on the quarter system. I’ve never encountered a university that does this, though, of course, my experience is pretty limited. From what I can tell, there aren’t a lot of schools left that do this, even in the state of Ohio.
