It’s a good thing that I’m moving into our real apartment next week, because this weekend, still without television, and now without transportation, I ended up watching many episodes of Gilmore Girls on DVD. Or rather, having them running in the background while I tool around online, looking for new blogs to read or keeping up with the latest on the Brett Favre saga.
I just realized, in watching the episode from the first season “Double Date” where Lorelai and Rory both go out on bad double dates, that the waiter in this episode is the same actor who plays Joe in an episode from season three where Sookie and Lorelai run into an old co-worker of Sookie’s who thought he was getting a second chance to ask her out. His name was Joe in that episode.
Yes, I know, this means I’m watching way too much Gilmore Girls. But really, my options are pretty limited. Next weekend, I fully intend to go to the farmer’s market here in town, work on getting my new apartment set up, and of course hang out with my husband since he’ll be here. But even if he wasn’t going to be here, I’d still be doing more than this. Maybe I can enter a Gilmore Girls trivia contest someday.
